Adventure Boot Camp Program

What is Adventure Boot Camp for Women?
A four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Fitness Trainers, Jessica Federici and Tracy Treible. Each day, camp will be one hour in length. Classes meet at both outdoor locations at 5:30am and we have a 6:30pm option at Parsippany Physical Therapy. (Evening program sells out quickly, please check before registering.) We also offer 9:30am classes by demand at various times throughout the year. Please inquire.

What if I’m not very physically fit?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

What types of exercises are included in the program?
Exercises include: Core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, sport drills, obstacle courses, surprises, and more!

What do I need to bring?
An exercise mat, small hand weights (5-8 lbs.), water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase hand weights at any Target, Sports Authority, Modell�s, or local sports store.

What can I achieve from camp?
Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you’ll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you’ll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You’ll receive a FREE nutrition seminar and Adventure Boot Camp T-Shirt.

Why should I participate?
You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!

What you can expect:

Expected results when you complete camp are: 3-5% reduction in body fat, greatly improved posture, better relaxation, 5-12 pounds of weight loss, 1-3 inch decrease in the midsection, 25% improvement in endurance, 25% increase in strength, and 100% gain in self-confidence.

What is the Pre Camp Evaluation?
The Pre-Camp Evaluation includes the following:
1. We will give you an introduction to Boot Camp and answer any questions you may have. We will also review your medical history.
2. We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to beginning camp. We don’t care what the measurements show. It’s strictly for a post-camp comparison. These numbers and all other information will be held in the strictest confidence.
3. We will record your weight and measure your body fat percentage. Again, the numbers don’t matter. We just want to be able to measure your improvement. Don’t be surprised if you see a 3-8% reduction in your body fat over the four weeks!
4. You will receive your Welcome Packet vie email
5. See you at camp!

What do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to bring one set of 5 – 8 lb. hand weights and any type of exercise mat. You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves or mittens in the winter . Dress in a layered fashion…even if it is chilly, you will get warm very fast!

What if I sign up for the three day plan and then want to do more days of the camp?
After starting camp, many women realize how fun and convenient it is so they request to sign up for more days. In addition, they realize that the more days they attend camp the greater the results. In these situations, you will simply be pro-rated from the point you decide to join us for more days.

Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It’s part of the process that lets you improve!

What kinds of people go to camp?
They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Some exercise experience is needed to ensure your safety and a better flow of class.

Is there a refund policy?
Our company as a no refund policy. However, unused portions of boot camp may be converted into a credit for use at a later date, at owners discretion.

What if I have to miss a camp day?
No problem, we will provide you with an at-home or on-the-road ï¿¿Adventure Workoutï¿¿ to follow for those missed camp days so you may keep up with boot camp where ever you may be.

What is a typical day like at camp?
That’s difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect some light running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training and jumping rope each week. On special days, you will go hiking. It’s always an adventure, and you’ll always have fun! We teach you a great deal about proper form and “core stability.”

How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. “Visual Improvement” can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It’s becoming common to see a camper go down 1-2 dresses sizes within the first camp, depending on your effort level. Remember, everyone is different!

What will I do after camp is over?
You can get re-measured and tested to show your progress and success in the program. Many (up to 80%) of the campers return for a second and even third camp.
